Join us each Monday as we put our days into words and pictures. These daily plans, photos and thoughts are the “little things” that may not make it to the calendar, or the scrap book. Yet they are a much a part of us as any “official” recordings. I know it will be fun to look back and see what I was doing, hoping and praying this 11th of February 201

On Monday, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes

bernardetteSurprised

theseeker‘s  avatar at Pilgrim’s Progress by Perpetua , struck deep chord within me. I did not realize that it was actually a picture of Bernadette. In a comment, seeker wrote back to me,
Melanie Jean, Meet Bernadette Soibirous of Lourdes, France.
Something happened in my heart and spirit;  Bernadette made a connection with me as I looked at her photo, looked into her eyes. The communion of saints is a wonderful gift that continually surprises me.

Pondering

LIFE, IS NOT A HAVING AND A GETTING, BUT A BEING AND A BECOMING – MYRNA LOY

Celebrating -

the birth of my second grandchild on Wednesday.- introducing Declan- Celtic meaning the Good One, looks like his Scottish grandfather and dad. He is very tiny but healthy, peaceful and holds us all in awe as we wait our turn to hold him!!!!

Creating

Crocheting again and happily missed the deadline. My baby blanket is not quite done because Declan was born three weeks early. We had a baby shower with the guest of honour in attendance and he was THE main attraction.

Praying

for the pope. In awe over his humility and wisdom as he steps down revealing that his love for Christ and his Church is strong and pure.

Captured

It would not be an Almanac it I did not complain about snow again on this site. Snow, snow and more snow.
